PostSubject: TIPS guild message   TIPS guild message EmptySun Jan 12, 2014 1:32 pm

Here is a re-post of the message sent in guild mail  A lot of useful info. here.  I added some parts here and there like in the Priority 5 section to include purple, and sometimes blue/green, runes for those that don't have the yellows yet.

Tips: (General Guidelines, "There are Many Paths to Power!") I hope all of this helps Smile, but remember not all players have the same setup or build power exactly the same.  Vary tips to what works for you.

Need to do every day: (I know limited resources - do the best you can)
- Do ALL in Assitant that you can and ensure you Claim Guild rewards.
- Do at least one Labyrinth a day.
- Build at least one equipment item a day.
- Do your blacksmith and talents.
- Invest in runes (a very important part of Power)

Fair:

Best use of gems is in the fair.
- Buy coins when they are 1.8-1.9m/10.
- Buy credits when they are 8-900k/10.
- Buy stars when they are 2-4 gems ea.
- Always buy the coins for credits and credits for coins.
- If you buy jewel fragments, buy the lvl. 1 for 60-100k ea only.

Blacksmith and Talents:

Never ignore your blacksmith and talents.  If you are soon to build another piece of equipment, hold off blacksmtih to upgrade the new equipment when you build it.  For talents, upgrade your constitution, thick skin, and third eye first.  You can't kill anyone if you die.  All talents and upgrading all equipment are very important, but you can choose what order you do them in.  Psychic Amp and Mirrors are very important one also.

Arena Requirements and Courtesy:

- You need 3 arena attacks a day, at any time, anyone (to be done only during small rewards)
- Flashing loot - Policy for guild members - You do NOT attack flashin loot automatically.  You need to notify in chat or by message, the members name and that it is flashing.  Then wait about 2 mins. before you actually take it to give the member time to remove it.  This goes for ALL FLASHING LOOT.  If it is not flashing you do not take it as either time has not expired or the member has auto-collect.
- Large Loot:  Coins/Credits/Gems.  DO NOT do 3 assistant arenas with these loots if they belong to guild members unless you floow the above guidelines for flashing loot.
- Arena postion rewards:  simple guild courtesy also...  you do not attack other members the last 15 - 30 minutes before Cerberus and Baal as they will be changing runes and power formations around for the event.
- Abuse of these guidelines is grounds for sanction.

*Toons/Characters:

- Calvin needs a +75 morale (optimum) for events, place him in the order of hits until he knocks Cerberus/Baal morale down at the right time.
- Cianna needs +100 morale and needs to fire first to stun, put her at last fire until she has +100.
- Shayd needs both Intenseness lvl 8 and Preciseness lvl 9 for optimum

Tavern:

Do as you can.

Caribbean Pirates:

Simple courtesy, ask before you board someone's ship.  They may want to lost their map and sink another ship.  If you do not receive an answer, then assume "No" as that person is probably afk or on another screen or window.  Do not assume since they are in a boat, that they want to sail.
- Stealing maps:  If you can, sink the enemy rather than steal the map onshore.  This reduces the sails they can make and deprives them of toon building resources.
- Boarding:  Always let the daily "common" map board first.  If you don't know what it is, ask.
- Boarding Order:  Generally the stronger of the two sailing parties should board first if both maps are available onshore and sailing.
- If maps are being "given" to you, generally use the bottom boats "under chat text."  This makes it harder to see what is happening, but you can minimize chat to see.  The person "giving" the map will load.  Immediately the person "stealing/receiving" the map will board and take it.  Again, immediately, the 2nd map rider will load while the battle is being fought.

Events:  Cerberus/Baal

Always boost if you can, you need the reputation points to promote, i.e. - get higher daily salary.  Never boost with gems.  Reviving early one or two times is ok, but not recommended by me.

Guild Wars:

- Orders will be in CAPS

The object is pretty simple, take away the city from the defenders. If attacking, then keep your city defended.

There are 2 main cities located at either end of the map.  There are 5 smaller cities in between.  These are listed as A, B, C, D, E, F, and G.  A is where the attackers begin.  B through G are defended.  G being the main defensive city.

There are 30 rounds that are split into 2 parts.  Command and Action.  Command is when decisions are made to send scouts, move the main body of troops, or hold position.  During this time there will be a bar under the cities saying "MARCH" which is what you would click if the order is given to march to a specific city.  Scouts and troops will be told when to march or hold and where to.  It is important to follow orders.  If you go off on your own it can hurt the planned strategy.  Teamwork is very important.  DO NOT use CAPS yourself if you are not running the GW.

If you die, you will be sent back to the main camp wuth a 3 round recovery period.  Advise in chat when you die.  Most people say something like "r3" meaning recovery in 3 rounds.  Orders for recovered troops will be issues, i.e. - RECOVERS TO D, HOLD B, etc.  To win while defending we either take their base or hold out 30 rounds.  To win as the attacking team we must take their base.

Orders will be given at the start during the setup period, i.e.- SCORCH GARRISON C, TARANISTON GARRISON D, etc.  Look at G to see what map your in.  This is not just for fun, we also win extra rep, coins, etc...  so let's make sure as many people are on as possible show up for it.  The more people we have, the better the chance of winning.

Priority 5 Strategy:

It is critical that you understand that it will only help you if you stay true to the formula.  So if you decide it is not for you well then it is not.  Two examples of this are:  A very good friend tried this formula.  5 days ago she was 9M power, I gave her this formula and she is now 12M in power with very few gems.  She is still growing as she didn't have all the parts she needed right away.  I also helped a player on server 11 and he went from 6M to 14M in a week.  Some of the changes will not happen quickly and at times spending money for gems helps, but you can do this without spending a dime guys.

Runes in order of priority:

P-1 Vitality/Vigor (increases Max HP) one on each hero and leveled to 7 as a priority before any other runes.
  - Vitality - Yellow
  - Vigor - Purple
P-2 Attack Runes - Bane/Adept to level 7 after P-1's leveled, 1-2 on each hero
  - Bane - Yellow - Physical Attack Dmg.
  - Adept - Yellow - Skill Dmg.
  - Retaliation - Purple - Physical Dmg.
  - Artisanship - Purple - Skill Dmg.
  - Guildmaster - Green - Skill Dmg.
P-3 Critical Runes to level 7 after P-1's and P-2's leveled
  - Advantage - Yellow
  - Superiority - Purple
P-4 Defense runes Dodge and Block not the physical/magic/skill defense.  Buffed to level 7 after previous priorities.
  - Nimbleness - Yellow - Dodge
  - Resistance - Yellow - Block
  - Agility - Purple - Dodge
  - Wall - Purple - Block
P-5 Morale Rune - One to each hero leveled up to 100 morale but no higher.  On Righteousness this is lvl 6
  - Righteousness - Yellow
  - Partisan - Purple
  - Crusader - Blue

That will work through level 70 and fill 7 slots.  Resilience, Physical/Skill/Magic defense runes are not a priority through level 70.  Hit rating and break are not needed through level 70 and not a Priority 5.

Regular hero Priority = Vitality, Skill and Physical attack, Dodge, Block and Morale
Mage hero Priority = Vitality, Preciseness, Dodge and Block, Break through level 70

The reason the defense runes are not needed is that they are specialized to the individual hero.  It is better to increase your talents in these areas that serve all you heros.  Example:  If your opponent is not using critical, resilience is a waste, but dodge or block are good all the time.  Block is the best defense rune because not only do they miss, but you get to hit them back.

Talents:

Most important talent?  Constitution

By level 70 your constitution should be no less than 55.  If you are mostly attacker, buff your attack talents more vigorously.  If mostly tank, buff your defense talents more vigorously.

Estimate of talents needed by level 70:
Constitution - 60
Thick Skin - 40 to 45
Mirrored Soul - 40 to 45
Pshychic Amp - 45 to 50
Strength of Steel - 40 to 45
Illuminated Mind - 35 to 50 (depends on how important your mage is to you)

The best way to build effectively is to review several top player profiles a day.  If someone beats you, then go back and look for the difference between your build and theirs.  Then you will begin to see the areas you need to concentrate on as you go.
